Journey to Japan with this subtle, aromatic, glossy teriyaki sauce, and traverse a landscape of flavours: delicately sweet yet savoury soy, floral honey, and a subtle hint of garlic and ginger. Garnish with sesame seeds.
soy sauce (soybean, water, wheat, salt), honey, raw cane sugar, Japanese rice wine (mirin), ginger, garlic. No artificial preservatives or colouring.
Delicious with fish, meat, and vegetables. Use 200 g sauce to marinate whole poultry (up to 3 kg) or a rack of spare ribs (up to 2kg), otherwise use 1 tbsp of sauce per 100 g of meat. Marinate for at least 2 hours prior to cooking. No marinating required when stir-frying, steaming or slow cooking.
To use as a Vinaigrette and Dressings mix 1 portion of Sesame oil (or other oils) with 1 portion of sauce for salads, raw vegetables, noodles and rice.
Stays fresh in a cool and dark environment for 24 months (see expiry date on jar). Once open, use within 3 months and store in fridge.
